The purpose of Your Legacy Foundation (“YLF”) is to promote, encourage and recognize philanthropy. This includes financial and volunteer support for community-based, faith-based, and issue-based charities. YLF also provides, promotes and furthers education regarding philanthropy. In particular, our focus is on Transformational Philanthropy, which involves gifts (no matter how large or small) that have as much impact on the donor making the gift as they do on the non-profit organization that receives it.
We are fulfilling our mission by providing training and consulting to non-profit organizations, non-profit professionals, other professionals who work with donors and families (such as financial planners and advisors, investment advisors, estate planning attorneys, CPAs, etc.,) and directly with individuals and families. We also sponsor a scholarship program that provides tuition to professionals to help them become trained in, and share the benefits of multi-generational heritage planning with non-profit organizations.
